You push open the giant red door in front of you to reveal a lavish room. A large chair sits facing away from you and toward a fire place that is roaring away. Carpets decorate the dark wood floor and paintings hang from every wall. Red roses stand on every piece of furniture, and every other aspect of the room is as the portrait of a high class lady. The woman in the chair turns to you. She has blonde hair and green eyes that look at you sharply, examine you. She stands, and you can see she is about 6 feet tall, unusual for a woman. She is wearing a dark colored dress with red markings and lots of expensive jewelry. You try hard not to gawk but her appearance is commanding, that of someone powerful. She seems proud, almost too proud and looks like she would be the kind to absorb every opportunity of power. "Speak child!" she commands, and you near jump out of your skin at her tone. When all you can do is stand thier she begins to talk for you. "So you have come to learn about the Red Ajah have you?" She waves her hand toward everything in the room and outside the door. "We are the Red Ajah. Our name strikes terror into the hearts of men. We are often misunderstood, feared and hated. But if not for us, the world would be destroyed by madmen, and there would be no Tarmon Gaidon. Some say that we are Black Sisters, but believe me," She leans forward, piercing you with her green eyes. "We are worse then Blacks, we are Sisters of the Red Ajah, and males tremble at our sight, regardless of if they can channel. We have a reputation for being stern and cruel." Suddenly her voice becomes sweet and mockingly innocent. "Is it cruel to prevent male channelers to destroy the world in their madness? Then we are the cruelest of the cruel. It is only the sure knowledge that we stand between all of humanity and complete ruination that keeps us to our task. This is a thankless job that only the strong are truly prepared for. Alone of all the Ajahs, we bond no Warder. We prefer to rely on ourselves, instead of some over-muscled, sword-wielding buffoon. We would rather follow the independency of Sisters, that way we don't have to think for two in the heat of battle. We are possessors of an unyielding will, an uncrushable spirit, with eyes that will shred all opposition against our duty. It is our soul purpose to save the world from madness, destruction, another breaking. With inborn Pride we stand tall, with heads held high and walk the earth, mightier than queens. For what queen has within her our awesome power our fearsome responsibility? We are bold in action, passionate in heart, exuberant in nature. We are the shining bright light, the guardians and defenders of humanity. The Red Ajah is the most proud and independent Ajah in the White Tower. For centuries our goal has never changed. We are to capture every man that posses the ability to channel, for the Taint of Saidin will cause him to become mad. In their madness those males are often driven to slaughter the innocent, blaze towns, and cause grief wherever they go. To prevent such things, and to save the world from chaos, the Red Ajah was created. Our goal is simple; find and shield any males that can channel, then bring them to the White Tower for trial. Then we are to participate in the gentling ritual, that forever cuts the male from saidin. Although some consider it cruel, as males do not live long after gentling, it's the only choice if we want the world to survive. If you think that you have the will to be the dissenting voice, to stand up for what you know is right, and to face the Shadow alone, then perhaps you can be one of us. If you think that you have enough courage to become guardian of the world, join us." The woman nows seems more proud than ever and puts a hand on your shoulder. "I am Kathrina DeVir, Highest of the Red Ajah. I was born as the middle daughter to a Cairhein Lord. My eldest sister was to be the one to go to Tar Valon to be trained but it was found she had no ability to channel, so I was sent off instead. My years as a Novice were hard. I was too proud to do chores and spent many a day with the Mistress of Novices for my pride. At first I joined the Red Ajah because of my matters of pride, I was to proud to bond a warder. But within a few years I began to understand the call of the Reds and I relished in the hunt, the feeling it gave. I became the Head of the Red Ajah due to an accident when the former head died in a battle with a False Dragon. My Father died not long after leaving me as the High Lady of House DeVir, but I rarely return home. My loyalty is to the Tower and my Ajah and no other." Kathrina stops as if she has no more to say and walks out of the room, as if being called. You listen for her to return but your'e sure you can only hear laughing in the distance.
